Wisdom & Action: We Are Nature School Art Competition
Small Giants invites students to submit a nature-themed artwork for a chance to win a $500 prize and showcase their art at our Wisdom & Action Forum.

Small Giants Academy invites students in years 10-12 to submit an original piece of art on the theme of We Are Nature for the Wisdom & Action Forum in Melbourne, April 1-3, 2025.
Finalists will receive tickets to the Forum, where your piece will be showcased, as well as shared digitally with the broader Small Giants Academy community. The three most significant pieces, as judged by our esteemed panel of artists and changemakers, will receive a $500 cash prize and all finalists will have the opportunity, should they wish, to sell their pieces during the Forum.
This year’s judging panel will be led by three extraordinary artists and changemakers: Joshua Yeldham, Berry Liberman, and Sam Watson-Wood.

Formats, Application & Submission
Multiple formats are welcome, including: paintings, sculpture, moving image, decorative art, a dance/theatre/music composition, and poetry/spoken word. Group submissions are welcome, however a maximum of two free Forum tickets will be awarded to the group.
Submissions should not exceed 1.5 meters, 15 kilograms, 3 minutes, or 250 words. If selected for exhibition, artists are responsible for the delivery and removal of their piece. The Wisdom & Action Forum will be responsible for displaying your piece.
