On Wednesday 17 August, Impact Investment Group (owned by Small Giants family office, co-founders of Small Giants Academy, Daniel Almagor OAM and Berry Liberman) and Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews were proud to officially open 54 Wellington, a green office building over 12 floors situated in the heart of Collingwood. Its companion building, linked by a laneway, is five floors high.
54 Wellington is on the site of an historic 1920s telephone exchange. 160 bike parks, 136 carparks and multiple nearby tram stops make 54 Wellington accessible from all over Melbourne. Upper levels enjoy 360-degree views across the city skyline.
Designed by John Wardle Architects, with landscaping by Openwork + Robyn Barlow, 54 Wellington has a 6-star Design and As Built rating, certified by the Green Building Council of Australia. A 5-star NABERS energy rating means that 54 Wellington is carbon neutral and the building has a 4-stay NABERS water rating.
Meaningful sustainability is a guiding principle in the design, construction and tenancy of this building. Many occupants are certified B-Corporations: businesses that envision and enact a better economic system in which businesses benefit people, communities and the planet. Tenants at 54 Wellington include Bank Australia, The Commons: a B-Corp co-working space, Impact Investment Group, Sentient Impact Group, and Yoorrook Justice Commission.
54 Wellington is a destination, workspace and community, all housed in a green building.
Finance can be a force for good. It’s the guiding principle of everything we do at Small Giants. We are excited to open the doors of this beautifully imagined workspace and invite other like-minded businesses to join the community that is leading the future of business in Australia and beyond.
