Program Producer

About the position

We are seeking an exceptional, motivated and impact driven person to become a Small Giants Academy Program Producer who will be part of the team responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Academy’s leadership programming for a more hopeful future (Mastery of Business and Empathy, Events, Deep Dives, Impact Safaris, Retreats) ensuring the highest possible standard, and embodying a philosophy of care embodied in what we call “enlightened hospitality”. 

This person will be self-motivated, creative and responsible for a range of operational, production, programming and partnership activities for a segment of our programs. From delivering programs to contracting speakers and facilitators to managing the budget, marketing and partnership for a number of our programs, with a particular focus on our Deep Dives and Mastery of Systems Leadership. Some key tasks include:

 

·       Program production from conception to evaluation 

·       Develop and engage in partnerships and marketing relating to that program.

·       Contribute to and deliver on our program production framework 

·       Manage program proposals and contracting 

·       Coordinate speakers and resources for each program 

·       Ideate on potential new programs and innovations

·       Event management and supporting community engagement

·       Hosting of virtual and in person programs (zoom and, primarily, at The White House in Melbourne)

·       Work collaboratively with a larger team that is delivering on events and programs

Location

A preference for Melbourne based applicants as we are headquartered in St Kilda, Melbourne.

Desirable Skills (Nice to have)

·       Community engagement in an online environment 

·       Demonstrated history of work in a social impact and/or next economy environment 

·       Partnerships and/or relationship management experience 

·       Leadership facilitation experience

Structure

Reports to Head of Programs with collaboration across the SGA team.

Working Hours

This is a 4-5 day a week position that requires flexibility as our programs are often held outside of usual business hours (in the evenings).
